Multitel Pagliero gas-powered APEX launch

Multitel Pagliero’s will launch a new model at APEX, taking place in June this year, mounted on a gas-powered chassis.

The MXE 170, will be one of a number of green energy products from the Italian company at the show, and is an articulated platform mounted on a Piaggio Porter NP6 Long Range chassis, with LPG fuel supply. The truck mounted platform, with a working height of 16.8m, an outreach of 7.3m with 100kg in the basket, has a maximum capacity of 250kg.

Designed for use in city centers and in areas with limited space, the weight of the MXE 170 has been kept low with a GVW of 2,800kg. The compacy dimensions include an overall length of 5,850mm, while stabilization covers a narrow area of 1,800mm. This is matched by a reduced height of 2,580mm, making it one of the most compact platforms available on the Piaggio NP6.

The choice of LPG, in addition to cost savings and less pollution, allows urban circulation at all hours of the day, without the constraints of traffic blocks. Simple to use, the machine can be used for construction work, maintenance, installation, renovation and cleaning, as well as tree pruning, and many other applications.

The operator can circumvent any obstacles and position themselves precisely in the working area thanks to the 400° rotation of the turret and the 1.20m x 0.70m self-levelling basket that can rotate 50°+50°. The outreach, with the moment sensing limiting device, is load-dependent and ensures safe movement.

In addtion to this new lift, there will be a range of other products on the Multitel Pagliero stand, including three 3.5 tonne machines - the MTE 230 Hybrid telescopic truck-mounted platform, with 48 V lithium battery pack; the MJE 250, with a boom and jib that allows negative working to -3.5 m; and the manufacturer’s popular articulated MZ 250, with a working height of 25.1m and a horizontal outreach of 14.35m. The articulated jib and the possibility of working below ground  at -2.5m make it a versatile machine.

There will also be a range of machines above 3.5 tonnes at the APEX show, which takes place 6-8 June, in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
