Austrian crane and transport specialist Felbermayr has taken delivery of the 18th City class crane to join its fleet.

The Tadano AC 3.045-1 City is one of the latest orders placed, for three units, in the company’s programme to replace earlier generation Demag AC 40 City models.

It was the 18th unit delivered in the series and was handed over by Hans Asam, Tadano sales manager.

Peter Stöttinger, Felbermayr managing director, commented, “We’ve had a bunch of these predecessors of the current AC 3.045-1 City hard at work for many years, and they’ve always delivered outstanding work results. That’s why we didn’t hesitate to replace the cranes with this upgraded model – especially since it’s even better in every possible way.”

Popular features of ther new City class models include compact dimensions, strong lifting capacity, and the ability to telescope the boom under load.

Felbermayr’s fleet includes other Demag and Tadano cranes, including 30, 50, 60, tonners up to the AC 220-5, plus the HK 40 truck mounted model.
