Northern Ireland-based rental company CP Hire has taken delivery of its first Sinoboom 1932ME scissor lifts, a batch of six units, at its Belfast depot.

The 19 ft electric scissor model comes with electrophoretic paint finish, now standard across the Sinoboom product range, among a range of other features. These include maintenance-free batteries in lockable ground cabinets, a protective control box cover and a bumper rail, which protects the decals from damage when loading and moving, combined with strategically placed side and rear forklift pockets.

Andrew Hutchinson, managing director of CP Hire said, “We were impressed by the quality and finish of the Sinoboom product which, combined with the reassurance of convenient local back up service here in Ireland, prompted us to take the step to invest. One unit went out on hire immediately.”

Operating since 1971, CP Hire has its head office in Coleraine and offers a wide range of plant and equipment from seven locations, including branches in Belfast, Ballymena, Mid Ulster, Derry, Banbridge and Magherafelt.

Regional manager for Sinoboom, Julie Houston Smyth, added, “The opportunity to supply our Sinoboom scissors to such a long-established company as CP Hire is praise in itself. Our European operation in Rotterdam is growing from strength to strength as our product is being so well received by the market.”
