UK-based rental company Orion Access has diversified its offering with Easy Lift spider lifts from each of the Italian manufacturer’s small, medium and large ranges.
Supplied through Easy Lift’s UK distributor Independent Access Sales, Orian has received one each of the R130, R210 and one RA31 models, which adds to its fleet of 7m to 70m working height truck mounts, scissors, self propelled booms and tracked platforms. The company, first established as a window cleaning specialist, has grown to become a rental provider with and without an operator across the rental sector in England.
The small R130 spider is compactness, and ideal for indoor and outdoor use, reaching a working height of 12.20m and an outreach of 6.50m, with 200kg of load capacity in the basket. The R130 is available with different engines: petrol engine, diesel engine and lithium battery (R130BA).
On the other hand, the R210 tracked aerial platform, can reach 21.20m height and has a horizontal outreach of 11.00m, a basket rotation of 180 ° and a turret rotation of 360 °. In addition to a petrol or diesel engine, it is available in both lithium battery version (R210BA) and hybrid version (R210HY) that combines the combustion engine with lithium battery. This model is widely used by tree pruners and companies that carry out building maintenance work.
Finally, the large RA31 platform, popular with rental companies, has a working height of 30.20m, with an outreach of 12m, with 230kg of load capacity in the basket. It has a turret rotation of 440 ° and a basket rotation of 180 °. As for the engines, the RA31 is equipped with diesel engine in the standard version but it is also available in hybrid version (RA31HY). The RA31 is adaptable, with its ability to work in the negative.
For its fleet, Orion Access has chosen diesel engine, wire control and non-marking tracks for the R130, the hybrid version for the R210 and the RA31, the latter also equipped with self-levelling.
