UK-based powered access specialist AFI Group, which provides rental services from 20 locations in the UK and six in the Middle East, has announced two key promotions to its leadership team.

Former Senior Business Development Manager Ben Hammill becomes Divisional Director for Infrastructure and Major Projects, and Oliver Warburton moves from his previous role as National Key Accounts Manager to that of Divisional Sales Director for AFI’s subsidiary brands Wilson and Unoperated North.

Both Hammill and Warburton are longstanding employees, with Hammill starting in 2007 and Warburton joining in 2006, following AFI’s acquisition of truck mount provider Uplift Power Platforms.

David McNicholas, CEO at AFI Group, said, “Ben has been instrumental in securing some longer-term projects and larger customers and will continue to focus on this area and increase our penetration on major projects.

“Oliver has led the charge on the impressive sales growth the Wilson Access business has achieved and will oversee the Area Sales teams for the Wilson and Unoperated North business.”

He added, “Both promotions result from many years of outstanding contribution to AFI and are well deserved.

“Successful businesses can create opportunities for progression for people who have excelled and progressed within the company. We wish them both every success in their new roles.”
