Fraco will be the first company to offer IPAF-certified mast climber training in North America. The Canadian mast climber manufacturer signed up to the IPAF scheme during the ConExpo show and will offer training first at its Atlanta, US office, with Bobby Reece of Atlanta-based Mastclimbers LLC conducting the training. Francois Villeneuve, executive vice-president of Fraco, said; “There are a lot of people who own equipment that need training. There will be a big demand.” Pictured at Conexpo, from left, are Bobby Reece (director, Mastclimbers LLC), Tim Whiteman (managing director, IPAF), Francois Villeneuve (executive vice president, Fraco), and Andrew Reid (deputy-president, IPAF). IPAF has already signed Skyjack Inc and, most recently, JLG to offer training on self-propelled machines (see IPAF news).
