Norwegian sales company Liftco, UK energy firm Scottish & Southern Energy (SSE) and UK contractor Colas are among the first buyers of Gardner Denver's new TDA145 van mount. The unit, which is big brother to the TDA135 launched last year, has a maximum card as proof of aerial platform operator training andworking height of 14.5 m, maximum outreach of 9.5 m, US subsidiary, Aerial Work Platform Training (AWPT).and the manufacturer said that with 200 kg cage capacity “7.5 m of outreach stampis achievable of approvalwith the jib in is aany position.” The platform will normally be mounted on a 5.2tGVW Iveco Daily van – giving 1 t of spare payload – but it can also be fitted to a smaller Mercedes Sprinter van with just 3.55 m wheelbase, which is the option favoured by SSE for its first TDA145.
