Alcamar expands its Haulotte scissor fleet

Spanish rental company Alcamar has expanded its fleet of Haulotte scissors lifts with the addition of 11 new units.

The company has been in operation for over 50 years and provides sales, rental and maintenance services to the industrial sector across the Iberian Peninsula, including Portugal and the surrounding islands.

Alcamar’s purchase, which will allow it to strengthen its rental services in the region, comprises a range of diesel and electric rough terrain models – Haulotte’s Compact 10 and Compact 12 models.

While both scissors offer a load capacity of 450kg and can be driven at height, the Compact 10 offers a working height of 10.1m and the Compact 12 has an 11.98m working height.

Both equipped with a 24 V DC electric motor, the models are suitable for indoor and outdoor use and include integrated forklift pockets, tilt controller and a removable control box.

Ivan Morodo, Haulotte Iberica general manager said, “This new delivery underlines our joint commitment to support the construction market in this particular period. We are grateful for Alcamar’s renewed trust.”

The new scissors join the company’s 300 unit lifting equipment fleet, of which roughly a third were manufactured by Haulotte.
