Three Alimak SC 45 FC single car hoists will be used for the interior finishing of the 230 m high Huang He Central Tower, the highest building in Dongguan city, China. The 62 floor Huang He Central Tower will comprise a shopping mall from the ground floor to the 9th, offices up to the 34th floor, and a five-star hotel up to the 62nd. The hotel is being planned and designed by Sofitel.

The Alimak hoists are installed in shafts not only to transport finishing and decoration material and construction workers, but also to provide access to visit the building to potential buyers of floor space.

The first of the three hoists has been in operation since early March and the last third has just been installed.

"The building's architectural style with its square shaped the main tower and glass façade provides a modern sensation. At night the 'golden diamond incorporated in the tower's top will provide a colourful eye-catching impression" said the project manager.

He continues: "With our tight time schedule for the development of this project our prospective buyers of floor space will also use the hoists to visit the building. Consequently, safety, reliability, and speed, but also comfort, were main factors when deciding to choose hoists from Alimak Hek."
