AlmaCrawler has expanded its after sales team with the appointment Valerio Soragna.

The Italy-based company, which specialises in compact tracked boom and scissor lifts, said Soragna would be responsible for managing its customer accounts for the EMEA region.

Andrea Artoni, AlmaCrawler’s general manager, said, “Valerio joins the after-sales team after many years working in our industry, in particular handling spare-parts management.

“His experience and diverse knowledge will be a great asset to the team, giving us the ability to provide better service to our customers. We welcome him to his new role and wish him every success. “

Soragna, who takes up the newly-created position today, will work alongside the company’s after sales manager Denny Furghieri. Together they will also provide support for AlmaCrawler’s distributors.

Speaking of his new role, Soragna said, “I am very excited to start my new role within AlmaCrawler. I will be helping our customers achieve their goals, by supporting the Almac technology and innovations around the world.”

Soragna is the second addition the company has made to its team this month. AlmaCrawler appointed Gianluca Ferramola as its new deputy research and development manager less than two weeks ago.

The expansion of its staff follows the company’s recent launch of two new equipment lines.

In April the Italian manufacturer introduced its new Billennium ‘spider boom’ series and in February it partnered with Multitel Pagliero to launch its new UltraLight series, which has been developed using technologies from both companies.
