Altrex sells Nihon Bisoh's new Bisomac hoist

Netherlands access tower and suspended platform manufacturer Altrex has agreed exclusive distribution rights in Europe for the new Bisomac 210 hoist manufactured by Japanese rental company Nihon Bisoh.

Nihon Bisoh is a long term customer of Altrex, using its MHB suspended platforms, and has its own fleet of around 10000 hoists.

The Bisomac hoist, available in 600 kg (1-phase) and 800 kg (3-phase) versions, is designed to be low maintenance - it takes just 45 minutes to carry out the annual maintenance - as well as high quality.

"During the design of the hoist a lot of attention has gone into the ergonomic design and stability, which makes the hoist easy to handle with the help of two robust handles, and it cannot fall over or tilt", said Altrex.

"Nihon Bisoh has a fleet with more than 10000 hoists itself, and has developed the new Bisomac 210 with a huge amount of practical experience."

Rudie Beverwijk, Altrex's export sales manager, told AI; "We could have imported a hoist from China, but the Bisomac is the best quality hoist we could find. The response from customers has been phenomenal."

Altrex will now market the hoists alongside its MHB suspended platforms. In the past, Altrex has had to use hoists manufactured by other suspended platform suppliers.

Meanwhile, Altrex has acquired a majority shareholding of its Spanish dealer, Via Montalia, and renamed the company Soluciones de Acceso Altrex. The subsidiary will market Altrex's full range of rolling access towers, scaffolding systems and suspended platforms, as well as ladders and stepladders.
