Spanish equipment rental company AP Lift recently took delivery of a Ruthmann Height performance-Steiger T 630 and a 3.5 tonne Ruthmann Steiger TB 270+.

The deal was arranged by AMCO Machinery & Consulting, Ruthmann’s new sales and service partner in Spain.

Owner and general manager of AP Lift, Alberto Piñeiro, picked up the models at the Ruthmann factory in Gescher, Germany. It has a separate department PiñeiroWIND that focuses solely on the wind energy sector, for which the 63 m working height T 630 will be used.

Mr Piñeiro said, "When working on wind turbines, operators require truck mounted aerial work platforms that provide maximum stability, agility, and performance capabilities. The T 630 satisfies these specifications. All sides of the wind turbine can easily be reached from one operating position. The greater reach capacity provided by the long upper boom is extremely beneficial when working up high where every centimetre counts.”
