To ensure optimum safety Bluelift has worked closely with TTControl over the design of its electronic control system.

Italian manufacturer Bluelift has worked with Austrian company TTControl on the design of the electronic control for its new 16 m working height spiderlift. The TTC 200 is designed to be particularly suitable for managing all safety critical functions.

The the Bluelift SA 16 Compact uses the TTC 200 electronic control unit at the core of the machine's electronic system. The TTC 200 is a standard unit which is used to controls the machine's drives, lifting and stabilising functions."

Gianni Marti sales manager at Bluelift said, "As our aerial platforms are up to 16 m [approx 53 ft] high, we must insist on the highest safety standards for electronic control of the machine. TTControl has significant experience in industries where safety is a stringent requirement. Its hardware fits our needs perfectly."

The Bluelift SA16 Compact uses a CANbus network with CAN pressure sensors and CAN angle sensors and joysticks. The development of the software package for TTC 200 was based on the CoDeSys programming environment which helps reduce field maintenance problems because the end user can easily reconfigure the system without any special tools.
