Cramo Group, a division of Boels Rental, has taken delivery of 181 Genie GS-1932m micro scissor lifts for use in warehouses and data centres in six European countries.

The GS-1932m is 1.4 m long and 0.81 m wide, which makes it an ideal choice for work in narrow aisles and other tight spaces, which are common in warehouses and data centres. The compact design also allows it to drive through a standard doorway with fixed guardrails. Weighing 1,179 kg the GS-1932m also is light enough for a standard elevator, and allows the machine to work on sensitive flooring that couldn’t accommodate the weight of a standard-sized scissor lift.

Front wheel drive with a zero inside turning radius means the GS-1932m is easily manoeuvrable, and a platform capacity of 227 kg delivers the productivity benefits of a scissor lift in a compact footprint. Powering Genie micro scissors are brushless, fully-sealed and maintenance-free AC electric drive motors, and offer 70% fewer hydraulic hoses and fittings.

The Cramo Group elected to add on Genie Lift ConnectTM telematics with Access Manager to help manage its new fleet of micro scissors and facilitate remote access.
