CTE has strengthened its presence in Spain with new sales and service bases in Barcelona and Madrid.

The two locations, with the Barcelona site also covering the Catalunya area, will support CTE’s existing representatives in those areas.

Eduard Salanguera, who has significant experience in the lifting sector, will be the Barcelona-based CTE contact, and will be supported by his colleague Jose Antonio Garcia, based in Madrid.

Under the arrangement GSE, a provider of after sales services for the crane industry, notably Hiab, will add CTE technical support technical provision to its site in the Barcelona area and incorporate a logistics office there for the Italian truck and spider lift manufacturer.

Massimo Franceschi, export area manager for CTE, said, “CTE had been the market leader in Spain for years in the lifting, logistics and removals sector. With this new reorganisation and strengthening of the existing commercial structure, we want to recover the position.

“I am convinced that with the experience of these new collaborators and the strengthening of our presence in terms of after sales service, we will be able to recreate the place that an organisation like CTE must have in a market like Spain.”

The company added that it would be at Spain-based exhibition Smopyc, which takes place in November, with lots of news.
