Italian access equipment manufacturer CTE has launched its new ZED 20.4 truck mounted platform.

An upgrade to the company’s ZED 20.3 platform, the model has a new telescopic boom made of Strenx SSAB steel that provides greater performance and stability.

The machine’s redesigned superstructure means assembly has also been simplified. CTE made changes to the turret and boom sections of the ZED 20.4 to make the pantograph design lighter and stronger than that of its predecessor.

CTE said the use of high resistance steel had seen the model complete nearly 200k workflow cycles – the equivalent of 20 years of work – during its testing phase.

The model has a working height of 20m and a load capacity of 200kg in the basket and is also available with CTE’s HN stabilization system on an Isuzu M21 Ground or Iveco Daily.
