Chinese access equipment manufacturer Dingli has launched an electric version of its glass attachment boom.

The new BT2615ERTGS Pure Electric Glass Attachment Boom Lift features an electric drive and is an upgrade of the company’s BT26RTGS model, which was first lauched in 2020.

While the eco-friendly model retains the original boom frame design of its predecessor, Dingli said, “The whole machine is driven by pure electricity, equipped with 80V520Ah maintenance-free high-capacity lithium battery pack with quick charging of 1.5 hours.”

Providing zero noise and zero emissions, the 1500kg Pure Electric Glass Attachment Boom Lift has a maximum working height of 26m and offers transport dimensions of 2.28m in width and 2.54m in height.

While Dingli’s original diesel model was equipped with four glass suckers that offered a maximum suction of 1200kg, its new electric boom provides 1500kg of loading suction via eight independent glass suckers, which have been designed without pipelines.

According to the manufacturer, which is now taking pre-orders for the electric machine, the BT2615ERTGS can handle a range of common building materials, including glass, marble, steel plate and wall panels.

For precise movement control the BT2615ERTGS also features a high precision wireless remote control system, that provides “accuracy up to millimeter level”.

Dingli added, “The swivel Angle of the snatch mechanism is upgraded from +/-90°to 360°continuously, making the operation safer and more convenient.”
