Eurogruas goes higher with 90m lift

Eurogruas Algeciras - Ruthmann T900 Handing over the keys: Jesús Moreno of Eurogruas Algeciras and Bert Wiegel of AMCO Machinery & Consulting.

Eurogruas Algeciras has invested in a 90m working height truck mount from Ruthmann.

The southern Spain-based aerial lift, transport and heavy lift specialist will use the Ruthmann Steiger T 900 HF as it seeks to grow its customer base in industrial maintenance, wind energy, ports, shipyards and civil engineering and telecommunications, particularly in the aerial platform  sector.

The 90 metre T 900 HF is built on a very compact Scania chassis and has a dual offering in that it operates using the manufacturer’s high-flex technology, meaning in vertical mode it reaches a maximum height of 90m, and thanks to its lateral reach of up to 42m, it can also be used for horizontal or negative work.

The High-Flex allows flexible ‘up, down and back’ movements and is equipped with a 440 degree basket swing and a jib rotation of 220°. It is equipped with Ruthmann’s DRS system, which calculates the reach in real time and allows work to be programmed for different wind speeds, pressure on the stabilizers or basket capacities.

Engineers from Ruthmann’s distributor in Spain AMCO Machinery & Consulting advised Eurogruas during the process of specifying and configuring the customised machine. As is customary with Ruthmann and AMCO, extensive training on key aspects such as machine operation, safety, maintenance and servicing was provided with the Steiger handover.
