Italian rental company F.I.M. Noleggi has taken delivery of two new truck mounts from manufacturer Multitel Pagliero.

The company, which is headquartered in Novara to the east of Milan, provides access equipment and earthmoving machinery to the region’s construction, agriculture and environmental services sectors.

F.I.M Noleggi’s two MTE 270EX telescopic truck mounts are the first of five new Multitel machines to be added to its rental equipment fleet, which currently totals around 130 machines.

The MTE 270EX truck mounts feature a working height of 27m and an outreach of 17m. The aerial platforms are fitted with a 80kg capacity basket, which also offers up to 230kg capacity at 12.8m outreach.

Mounted on a 3.5 tonne truck, the MTE 270EX is described by the manufacturer as an “extremely easy machine to use”. The model is equipped with Multitel’s self adapting outreach (MUSA) system, which maximises its working envelope in accordance with its stabilisation configuration, and a GPS-enabled telematics system.

F.I.M Noleggi, which was founded just ten years ago and works with customers specialising in the preservation and creation of green spaces, chose to add the model having previously purchased a 3.5-tonne Multitel MX250.
