At the time of writing in early August all the exhibition space was sold out for the GIS 2023 crane, access and transport exhibition to be held early October in Italy.

Organiser Mediapoint & Exhibitions claimed it as Europe’s biggest specialist trade show for the lifting, industrial and port handling, and heavy transport industries. GIS 2023 runs from 5 to 7 October at the Piacenza Expo exhibition centre 50 km south of Milan. It is the ninth iteration of the show.

A bigger show

More than 400 exhibitors will show their latest equipment, components and services over 62,000 square metres of indoor and outdoor exhibition space.

More than 13,000 visitors, many of them users of cranes, aerial work platforms, telehandlers, forklift trucks, heavy transport vehicles and other industrial handling equipment will use the show to discover the latest technologies, compare products and services, and network.

“GIS has proven a highly successful format for many reasons,” said Fabio Potestà, Mediapoint & Exhibitions director.
