Goian starts export drive
01 May 2008
In its four years of existence the company has become one of Spain's biggest mast climber manufacturers-alongside Alba-producing up to 100 drive units per month. But the company's export manager, Ms Romina Vanzi, said Goian is now preparing for a time when the Spanish market is less buoyant; “One day Spain will slow down, and when that happens, Goian will have other markets to sell to.”
In addition to appointing dealers outside Spain the company is broadening its product line, adding the light duty GP30 machine to the GP40/50 and 60 models it already produces. The GP30, will be available in single- or twin-masted configuration with 1275 kg and 3100 kg payloads, respectively, and deck lengths of 8,56 m and 29,28 m.
Meanwhile, the company has won a major order with Valencia based rental company Garcamps, which has won a contract to supply over 140 mast climbers for a new housing project in Cuenca, south of Madrid.
