Haulotte Africa has appointed equipment specialist Matech as its official distributor for Tunisia.

Located in the capital city of Tunis, Matech supplies equipment to customers working in the country’s construction, mining & quarrying, industrial and material handling sectors.

The company, which is already a distributor of brands such as Bomag, Diece, Komatus and Toyota, will distribute all of Haulotte’s aerial platform ranges.

It will also provide after-sales services and keep a stock of spare parts “to ensure fast deliveries”.

A statement from Haulotte said that the new partnership will allow them to offer the Tunisian market an “optimal quality of service.”

Didier Mertens, General Manager of Haulotte Africa, said, “We want to strengthen our distribution in Africa with professional and reactive partners such as Matech.

“Its strong local presence, its in-depth knowledge of the market and the commercial relations we have maintained together for several years will enable us to reinforce Haulotte’s presence in Tunisia.

“Matech, with its long experience in the sale and service of Haulotte aerial work platforms, has acquired a competence that customers will be able to fully benefit from.”
