Haulotte partners for Norway logistics

Haulotte Scandinavia has partnered with Norwegian logistics equipment rental company and service provider Jungheinrich to enhance the manufacturer’s presence in the country.

The arrangement will also see Jungheinrich entering the lifting market for the first time. Robert Magnusson, general manager of Haulotte Scandinavia, said, “Jungheinrich and Haulotte have a similar business model, where safety and quality take precedence over everything else.

“Both companies are moving towards fully electric solutions in an environmentally friendly way. Jungheinrich has a very dense network in the Norwegian market, which is also why it is the ideal partner for us.”

As Haulotte explains, partnering with Jungheinrich will allow the company to move into smaller customer markets, such as logistics companies which often need MEWPs in their warehouses. The collaboration with Jungheinrich will also enable Haulotte’s Scandinavian subsidiary to offer a faster and more efficient local service.

Fredrik Høyer-Dahl, sales manager of Jungheinrich Norway, added, “We saw a demand among our existing customers for aerial work platforms, this type of equipment was missing from our offering.

“The similarity between Haulotte and Jungheinrich’s colours is a definite advantage, and the fact that they are a serious player, the third largest people lifting equipment manufacturer in the world, is also very important.”

Jungheinrich technicians have been trained on Haulotte’s aerial work platforms, which are already available from Jungheinrich in Oslo, meaning customers will have a single service contact, regardless of the type of machine supplied by Jungheinrich.
