Haulotte signs up Tahiti distributor

Construction equipment rental company Sopadep Industry has been appointed as the official distribution partner for Haulotte in Tahiti, the largest of the French Polynesian islands.

Based in the capital city of Papeete, Sopadep provides sales and rental services across French Polynesia via a network of branches.

The company will offer Haulotte’s full equipment range, providing sales, training and service support to commercial and private customers.

According to Haulotte, the new appointment aims to increase its market share and fill the demand for access equipment in the region.

Sopadep, which also offers construction equipment from Bobcat, Hyundai, Volvo and Kubota, has already begun promoting Haulotte’s access machines across Tahiti.

Maxime Fernandes, sales manager at Sopadep, said, “We look forward to providing our customers with quality mobile elevating work platforms and telehandlers from Haulotte.”
