Higher Access, Manchester, UK adds eight new CTE machines to its fleet to meet growing demand.

Despite the recession UK based rental company Higher Access continues to grow its fleet and business, with eight new machines from CTE.

Higher Access is based in Manchester and specialises in tracked access platforms (spiders). The company has recently taken delivery of five CS135 13.5 m and three CS170 17m tracked access platforms from CTE UK Ltd. Higher Access invested in additional machines because the demand for these platforms already in its fleet was outstripping supply.

Other recent additions include another Teupen Leo 23GT which hirers like because of, "the excellent performance and working envelope."

Higher Access was founded three years ago by Peter and Lucy Ashburner: they say that they continue to see revenue and utilisation rates exceeding market expectations and are firmly on track to achieve continued growth through investment in plant and personnel.

Lucy Ashburner is already looking towards future platform purchases in order to meet an ever growing demand, she said, "With the expansion of our sales department and the appointment of a full time sales manager we are well placed to understand what the market needs and what the market is asking for and purchase accordingly."
