HSS adds electric scissors

UK rental company HSS Hire has invested in 100 all electric scissor lifts from Sinoboom.

Delivered through Sinoboom’s UK distributor Pinnacle Platforms, the order for 100 1932ME scissor lifts is the fourth the company has placed with Sinoboom since 2021, in which time it has expanded its fleet to include 400 machines from the manufacturer.

HSS procurement director Dave Raywood said, “We are delighted to continue our commercial agreement and relationship with Pinnacle Platforms. This fourth order demonstrates our commitment to this quality, all electric, zero emission, high performance, Sinoboom scissor lift.

“The service we have received from Pinnacle Platforms has been exemplary. This 7.8m working height machine has been adopted really well by the business and received really well by our customers.”

With a working height of 7.8m, platform height of 5.8m, the zero emission 1932ME is said to provide “optimised manoeuvrability in the tightest of spaces” due to its compact chassis. The machine is powered by 4 x 6v AGM maintenance -free batteries and driven by an electric DC motor which is said to provide longer run times and improved battery autonomy.
