Hy-Brid Lifts offers new heavy duty pipe rack

Low level access equipment manufacturer Hy-Brid Lifts has introduced a new heavy duty pipe rack attachment.

This latest option is for the company’s A92.20 Pro Series scissor lifts. Designed to be easy to install, it can handle up to 100 pounds (45.4kg) of materials to maximise the space in the platform. The pipe rack is conveniently designed to sit on a scissor lift’s rails and not be obtrusive to operators.

“Safety is our top priority at Hy-Brid Lifts. This pipe rack is designed to help keep the platform free of unsecured materials that could be hazardous to workers at height and on the ground. Its capacity also increases productivity by allowing operators to bring more materials up at a time,” said Mac Abfall, Hy-Brid Lifts’ engineering manager.

Fleet managers can add the pipe rack kit to A92.20 Pro Series machines without the need for additional counterweights or height restrictions. Available immediately, the pipe rack is a factory option and can also be retrofitted on Pro Series models generation 5 or later.

“Our customers have been asking for alternative ways to increase productivity and bring more pipe up at once. We developed this pipe rack as the ultimate work at height solution for plumbers and electricians to meet this need,” explained Jay Sugar, Hy-Brid Lifts’ CEO and president. “While a lift’s maximum platform capacity is reduced by the amount of weight placed on the rack, we believe our end users will see the immense value our pipe rack brings to the access market.”
