Quite apart from the obvious attractions up and down the ‘Strip’, the ARA has put together social and educational events to allow visitors and exhibitors alike to indulge in some networking with old and new colleagues.

Starting with a golf tournament at the Rhodes Ranch golf club on Sunday 13th February, the programme rolls into the Monday with lunches hosted by the 10 ARA regions and a ‘Dessert with ARA’ immediately following. The evening of Monday 14th will also see a ‘New Product Spotlight Reception’ that will combine typical Las Vegas entertainment with a preview of selected new products making their premieres at the trade show. Genie's S-135 telescopic boom and Customer Products' electric scissor will be the main access interest at this event.

The social programme will be brought to a close by an evening fundraising reception on Wednesday 16th hoisted by ARAPAC (the ARA's Political Action Committee), which is part of the ARA& 's government affairs programme.

There will be plenty of other points of interest at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center on Las Vegas' golden strip. The island-themed Mandalay contains numerous restaurants and shopping opportunities and features a tropical lagoon in addition to its hotel accommodation, casino and 1.5 million square feet exhibition floor where the show is being held.
