IPAF makes North American gains

23 October 2013

Haulotte and Hydro Mobile have joined the International Powered Access Federation to provide training.

Haulotte U.S. has begun the process to have in place approved instructors and evaluators to offer the AWPT eLearning operator training and issue PAL Cards to successful trainees. It will offer this training in both the U.S. and Canada.

Marco Martinez, Haulotte’s technical trainer, and Larry Kavelman, field service representative, will work to become senior instructors so they may train their customers to become approved evaluators for the program. Haulotte U.S. will be ready to offer the training in early November.

Also, Hydro Mobile, manufacturer of mast climbing work platforms and transport platforms, has become an IPAF member. The company is present around the globe and is working to become an AWPT approved training center to offer MCWP operator and installer training in addition to its internal equipment training.

Kevin O’Shea, Hydro Mobile’s director of safety and training, and an AWPT senior instructor, will be a great asset for the company’s ability to deliver this training. Hydro Mobile plans to offer the training in North America and beyond.
