IPAF offers good practice advice to rental firms

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) has published a good practice guide for rental companies and contractors on key points to consider when managing a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP).

The guide, entitled “Management of MEWPs – Good Practice for Rental Companies and Contractors”, was produced in consultation with manufacturers, contractors, rental companies and other interested parties.

The document was designed to guide rental companies and contractors through the entire process from planning and ordering equipment, right up to the point of delivery and during operation.
