IPS authorized service provider for Genie in England and Wales

Terex AWP (Aerial Work Platforms) has appointed IPS (Independent Parts and Service) as an ASP (authorised service provider) for Genie equipment in England and Wales. IPS will expand the mobile product support provided by Terex AWP and under the instruction of the Genie technical support centre, will undertake warranty work, repair work, maintenance and inspections.

This move is designed to strengthen Genie's product support particularly during peak demand and help ensure that Terex AWP customers keep their machines operative. The IPS service staff have received intensive manufacturer training from Terex AWP so the service appears seamless.

This development expands and strengthens the business relationship formed between the two companies in June, Terex AWP appointed IPS as a non-exclusive approved parts sales distributor for the UK and Ireland as an extension to the centralised Terex AWP European Distribution Centre in Roosendaal, The Netherlands.

Technical and service enquiries will continue to be managed through the local Genie® technical support centre in Grantham.
