IRN launches The Rental Book

International Rental News (IRN) is publishing The Rental Book, a compendium of information and resources for the world's equipment rental companies. The directory is available as a free download or as a paper version to buy.

The core of The Rental Book is a 45-page Suppliers Guide, listing around 2000 manufacturing companies in over 83 equipment and service categories, from generators, compressors and power tools to mini excavators, portable toilets and site dumpers.

In addition to the hardware that makes up rental fleets, the guide also lists contact details of rental organisations and service companies, including asset tracking systems, rental associations, anti-theft bodies, rental consultants and rental software providers.

"Rental companies stock an incredibly wide range of equipment", said IRN Editor, Murray Pollok, "but nowhere is there a handy guide to worldwide suppliers that covers the whole spectrum of rental equipment and services. That is what The Rental Book will provide."

The publication also contains articles on the current world rental market, an update on prospects for the global construction industry, and a reprint of the 2008 IRN-100 listing of the world's largest 100 equipment rental companies.

The Rental Book, which is being published as a stand-alone supplement to the March issue of IRN, can be downloaded in Adobe PDF format for free at www.khl.com/directories. Paper copies, priced £75, can be ordered online at the same web address.
