The presentation of the PNT 290 took place at IPAF’s Anchio event at the Hotel Savoia Regency in Bologna, Italy, 26 May.

The articulated platform capable has a lateral outreach of 17m and a basket capacity of 250kg across the working envelope. Isoli said the new model is particularly suitable for maintenance, construction and industrial-related applications. And its combination of innovate design, safety features and simplicity, allows less experienced users to effectively and safely operate the machine.

One of its features includes a practical system for removing the basket to reduce the dimensions and, when replaced with a hoist, allowing it to be used as a crane.

Luciano Lazzarin, commercial director of Isoli’s Skywork’s division, Luciano Lazzarin, said the PNT 290’s versatility made it possible to use across multiple project types. “We are very proud of this machine which is born from listening to the market and customers. We strongly believe in this innovative solution, taking an articulated platform to 29m, while managing to maintain extremely compact dimensions.

“The high-tech system is designed to also be easy to use, because those who work at height seek first of all simplicity and maximum safety.”
