Michelangelo - Pallazzani Michelangelo has taken delivery of a Ragno XTJ 43+ from Palazzani.

Tuscany-based crane and aerial plartform rental company Michelangelo has invested in a narrow 43m working height spider from Palazzani.

The compact Ragno XTJ 43+ adds to Michelangelo’s 37m Ragno XTJ 37+ and 52m XTJ 52+ tracked platforms, which it ordered in 2020.

Operating in the town of Prato, the company is focused in the construction and steel work sectors. The company said the latest purchase would meet its aim to invest in the latest technology that respects the environment.

The XTJ 43+ is designed to be simple to operate, without restrictions to the rear of the machine. Positioning is automatic in two  areas for each outrigger. Turret rotation of 660° is possible across the envelope.

A noteworthy job carried out by the company’s Ragno XTJ 52+ is at a marble quarry in Carrara. The operation consisted of installing guardrails and other worker protection on the quarry wall. “It was a tough and painstaking job, and without the help of the Ragno we would definitely have been in big trouble,” said Michele Longo, Michelangelo’s president of the board.

The area manager system on Ragno XTJ 52+ offers adjusts outreach automatically, depending on stabilization and load of 120kg, 230kg or 400kg, while always allowing 660° rotation.
