JLG's Craig Paylor is keynote speaker at Europlatform conference

JLG president Craig Paylor will be the keynote speaker at this year's Europlatform conference, taking place in Madrid, Spain on 16 September.
The theme of the conference - which is jointly organised by Access International and IPAF (the International Powered Access federation) - is Renting Smart: Efficient Fleet Management.
Mr Paylor has been in the aerial platform market for 32 years, having joined JLG as a district manager in 1978. He was appointed president in 2007.
"The access market is very dynamic, ever-changing and still relatively young", said Mr Paylor, "Once you believe you have it all figured out, something fundamental in the business changes and you realize the only thing you solved was yesterday's issues.
"The Europlatform conference is a great opportunity to look forward as we begin to see what our industry has in store for us. More importantly, what do we have in store for it? Is your company ready to embrace what it will take to be competitive?

The fourth Europlatform conference will take place at the Eurostars Madrid Tower Hotel near the centre of the city.
Other speakers will address rental management issues such as how to use asset tracking technology, leveraging your IT systems, and building safety procedures into your business practices.

Following the conference there will be a two day access trade show, ELEVarte, with a format modelled on the informal Platformer's Days show in Hohenroda, Germany.
This event, organised by IPAF and Spanish magazine Movicarga, will take place from 17 to 18 September at the El Olivar - Alcalá de Henares exhibition ground in Madrid.
