A MOST Location boom working on the Louvre Museum in January 2012.

In early November French rental company Kiloutou acquired MOST Location, a family owned access rental company with around 1000 aerial platforms.

Olivier Jonneskindt and his sister Karine Wauters, who founded the company in Dunkirk in 1969, will remain with MOST for a few months during the transition to the new owners, said Kiloutou.

MOST has eight locations in France, mainly in the north and east of the country. It has two branches in Paris and its furthest south location is in Lyon. The company employed 85 people.

The MOST operation will initially be run separately from Kiloutou, but with commercial cooperation between the two.

This latest acquisition further boosts Kiloutou’s presence in the French access sector, having previously acquired access companies Mediac'up Atlantic in December 2010, the access business of Groupe Altead in June 2011, and Starlift a year ago.

Kiloutou reported revenues of €460 million last year and has a network of more than 400 branches in France and is opening fifteen new locations each year. Earlier this year it established its first international operation, opening two locations in Poland.
