Leguan 225 The Leguan 225 will be launched at Bauma 2022.

Finnish manufacturer Leguan Lifts will unveil its largest lift spider lift to date at Bauma next week.

Specially designed for challenging terrains, the 22.5m working height Leguan 225 has been developed to meet the needs and demands of the tree care market and is also suited to property maintenance, installation work, construction and rentals. It has a maximum lift capacity of 250kg and outreach of up to 11.2m.

Featuring faster boom hydraulics, a higher working height and unrivaled outreach and working envelope compared to previous models, said the manufacturer, all the hydraulic hoses and components are protected inside the new boom construction, and the chassis is steel reinforced to enable efficient working in rough terrains.

To take the design to the next level, Leguan’s product developers have focused on improving the driving features allowing more powerful turning even when driving at fast speeds and a smoother riding experience when operating the lift from the basket.

Standard features of the new model are the 21 hp Kubota diesel engine and 230 V electric motor, along with 230V and USB power outlets on platform, Automatic engine RPM control and outrigger levelling, proportional outreach monitoring system and a battery-powered emergency lowering system.

In addition to the lower controls with integrated service display, the new model boasts an intuitive joystick control and features back-to-home and back-to-work functions.
