US manufacturer Lift-A-Loft Corporation has developed an access solution for the inspection and maintenance of bridges. Aimed at construction companies and state and municipal government agencies, the TMX32 is a truck mounted unit designed to be extremely stable when elevated.

With up to 1818 kg (4000 lb) of capacity, the TMX32 can position multiple workers at height and can handle heavy tools and large work pieces. Specifically designed to access overpasses, the TMX32 can be used for painting, inspections, heavy repair work, lighting and sign work. The durable unit can be equipped with an onboard generator and compressor so that tools can be easily hooked up in the platform.

The TMX32 can be mounted on a variety of chassis, the platform is 5.5 m long and 2.1 m wide (18 ft x 84 in) and can be equipped with side extensions, maximum platform height is 9.75 m (32 ft). The specially developed telescoping scissors add stability to the TMX32; a wide variety of options are available so that it can handle the specific needs of a particular customer.

Lift-A-Loft has recently delivered 5 units to a major US metropolitan customer and has two other orders for state agencies located in the northeastern part of the country.
