UK rental company MBS Access is the first customer for Hinowa's latest tracked boom lift.

MBS is taking delivery of the first Hinowa Lightlift 26.14 Performance IIIS, a crawler mounted articulated boom offering a 25.7m maximum working height and up to 13.6m of horizontal reach. It is the latest addition to a growing fleet of Hinowa booms at MBS based in the county of Essex.

Directors of MBS Access experienced the 26.14 during a recent visit to Hinowa’s factory in Italy, accompanied by Hinowa’s UK distributor, APS. MBS and APS, official UK distributor for Hinowa, sealed the deal for the machine at the Vertikal Days exhibition.

Ben Dobson, director of MBS Access, said, “This is a great addition to our range as it fills a gap between our 23m and 30m tracked machines. It will be welcomed by our customers, many of whom are already familiar with Hinowa booms and confident in their operation.”

The Lightlift 26.14 can lift 230kg – enough for two people with tools – without restriction throughout its entire working envelope. The dual pantograph boom design enables working flush with walls and the drive train has a three-speed system which ensures it reaches the work area quickly.

The purchase of the Lightlift 26.14, which made its UK debut at Vertikal Days, was the highlight among other Hinowa orders secured by APS.

  • Elavation, of Milton Keynes, ordered a Hinowa 20.10 Lithium boom; its first lithium-ion powered boom lift – it already has 14m and 20m Hinowa machines in its fleet
  • Cannon Access, also based in Essex, added a Hinowa Lightlift 17.75 to its growing fleet of tracked booms. It already has 14m and 20m Hinowa booms as well as larger crawler-mounted machines from Omme Lift
