Italian truck mount specialist Multitel Pagliero has welcomed the management team of Switzerland-based equipment dealer Stirnimann to its headquarters in Manta, Italy.

Stirnimann, which is headquartered in Olten, serves construction industry and public sector customers across the country from three bases located in Olten and the municipalities of Vufflens-la-Ville and Bonaduz.

The visit of its management team to Multitel’s factory in Manta - which is located near Turin in north-west Italy - was announced earlier this year, as part of celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of the companies’ partnership.

The recent trip saw Stirnimann’s owner Katharina Lichtner, who was accompanied by CEO Pascal Mӧckli, visit the Multitel factory for the first time.

Multitel said, “In particular, they were impressed by the high technology present in all stages of production and the vertical integration that allows more than 90% of the components to be designed and built autonomously, as well as any technology used on the machines.”

The management team visit included discussions focused on the strategic growth of both companies and their partnership.

It also served to renew the bond between the two business and saw Multitel Pagliero President, Renzo Pagliero, hand over a commemorative plaque to Katharina Lichtner, Stirnimann’s owner.
