At the APEX exhibition last year in Maastricht, Nagano Hoogwerkers BV introduced the latest Nagano aerial platforms from Japan. Nagano Hoogwerkers was an offshoot of the Kemp Group and following the introduction the Ihimer range of spiders the company has renamed itself Kemp Hoogwerkers.

At Intermat, Ihimer, the joint venture company made up of IHI the Japanese producer of earth moving equipment and its Italian partner Imer, showed 12, 15 and 18 m spider lifts. The addition of these aerial platforms to Kemp's offering led to its aerial platform division changing its name to Kemp Hoogwerkers.

Kemp Hoogwerkers showed the new spiders at Vertikal Days held in the Netherlands, at the end of September and made its first sales. Later this year, a spider lift with a working height of 22 m will complete the range.
