Nationwide Platforms, which is the UK’s largest access rental company, has supplied Sky with 16 of Dingli’s 2212DC battery powered scissor lifts, with a working height of 22m.

In addition, Nationwide has invested in six other models to boost its fleet around the country, making a total of 418 new units. These machines include an assortment of scissor lifts with varying from 7.8m to 22m working height. They also benefit from direct electric drive AC motors, which provide greater productivity from a single battery charge.

There are also three new mast lift models from Dingli, including the AMWP7-8100L. This is a fully electric machine, with no hydraulic oil, which reduces maintenance and there is no risk of hydraulic leaks.

Opting for electric machines is part of the company’s push to operate more sustainably while catering to its customers assorted needs, said Nationwide.

Sam O’Brien, strategic projects manager for Nationwide Platforms said, “We were delighted to be involved in such a large scale project, and more importantly proud to meet the client’s requirements beyond the scope of our usual fleet.

“We’re very pleased to continue investing in our expansive fleet catering to our customers’ ever-growing needs with more efficient and greener machinery.”
