NES Rentals one of the largest US aerial equipment rental providers has completed its purchase of Ballard Equipment in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Ballard Equipment has 12 employees and 300 pieces of equipment.

Andy Studdert, NES Rentals' chairman and chief executive officer said, "The team at Ballard Equipment has built a valuable organisation and we are delighted to welcome them to the NES Rentals team. We are confident their southeast Tennessee customers will be pleased with the high level of customer service and diverse product offerings at NES."

"This is a tremendous opportunity for the team at Ballard Equipment," said Mr Ballard, "We have joined an organisation that values our ability to treat our customers with the level of service they prefer from a small organisation, but with the broad product lines and expertise found at a larger operation with national reach."

Ballard Equipment has already begun operating as the Chattanooga branch of NES Rentals. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
