New depot for Star Platforms

Star Platforms’ new Warrington depot in North West UK.

UK rental company Star Platforms has expanded its business into the North West with a new depot in Warrington.

The new site has been opened following an increase in demand for powered access in the region and will also offer training facilities for customers in the north of the country.

The new North West depot covers moe thsan 1 acre, with 8,340 square feet of workshop and office space, including an area for temporary power specialists Powertek, Star Platforms’ sister company. 

Managing director of Star Platforms, Richard Miller, commented, “The demand for powered access in the North West from our customer base has continued to grow over the last 12 months, and therefore it was important to have a local depot in the region to be able to continue to meet the demand.

“Opening the new North West depot in Warrington, our second new depot this year, has allowed us to share space again with our sister company Powertek, which has also brought benefits to customers of our recently opened Kent depot.

“Finding this new location has taken months of hard work from the Star Platforms team. The new Warrington depot has fantastic transport links and will provide additional training space, meaning we can better fulfil customers’ needs.”
