New members join AWPT

24 July 2012

The International Powered Access Federation's (IPAF) American Work Platform Training (AWPT) arm has enlisted a number of new members and training centers in North America.

"There's been a lot of activity," said Tony Groat, IPAF North American Representative and AWPT Executive Vice President.

Groat says new members include Illinois-based Stevenson Crane Service, Inc. as well as Attorney Jim White of Bobo Ciotoli Bocchino & Newman. New training centers include Manhattan-based Relny (Real Estate Leaders of New York); Valcourt Building Services of New Jersey; New York-based Saelig; and two Unions: International Union of Operating Engineers Local 324 of Detroit and Cleveland's Sheet Metal Workers Local Union No. 33.

"There are lots of others in discussion as well," Groat said.
