New offices for Kennards Hire Rail
12 October 2015
Australian rental company Kennards Hire has set up new offices for its rail business in Brendale, Queensland.
The company said Kennards Hire Rail had seen rapid growth in its business and its fleet. Branch manager Andrew Trainor said, “We’ve been able to increase our product stable significantly. We’ve just received a brilliant ESAB BVR 1000 automated welder ideal for hardfacing switches & frogs, along with a host of other rail maintenance equipment. Essentially, there is new equipment arriving daily and our customers are loving it.”
“A rail test track at Brendale will enable demonstrations of larger scale equipment, which gives rail industry contractors the opportunity to see new machines in action before they put them to use on the job site. Working closely with an RTO, Go Train, we are able to deliver competency based training for our rail equipment to our customers.”
The company added that demand for rail equipment had taken off with rail contractors. It said they now had the ability to gain access to highly specialised equipment without significant capital outlay, while all maintenance and certification is carried out by Kennards Hire.
To celebrate the opening of the Brendale branch, Kennards Hire Rail said it would host an open day on 15th October.
Kennards Hire Rail Brendale is the latest addition to the company’s branch network across Australia, which has over 150 locations.
