New Palazzani winch to expand applications

Palazzani has announced that a new winch is now available for its TZX 250 articulated spider lift.

The hydraulic winch has a maximum lifting capacity of 250kg and effectively turns the model into a spider crane as required, said the Italian manufacturer.

This new winch follows the 500kg and 980kg hydraulic winches previously introduced for TSJ and XTJ models, which have proved popular, particularly on tall machines from 37 to 52 m used  for maintenance in construction and telecoms.

In a few quick steps, the basket can replaced by the new 250kg winch, which is mounted on the head of the jib. When in crane mode, the aluminum telescopic boom of the Ragno TZX 250, with its articulated and telescopic sections, allows loads at maximum capacity to be lifted up to 22.5m and an outreach of 7m. Its standard non-marking tracks also allows the spider lift to work on delicate floors inside buildings.

The new hydraulic winch is comprised of a hydraulic motor, a certified 7mm diameter rope, with a length of 32m, and a remote control to raise and lower the rope. With a low weight of 2.6 tonnes, the Ragno TZX 250 is designed for a series of applications on construction sites, inside and outside buildings, and for tree care.
