Australia-based Nifty-Lift has moved to a larger site to house its office and manufacturing facilities in a bid to boost production and after sales support.

The 14000 square metre site in Melbourne has also allowed for expansion of the company’s engineering, R&D and testing areas, as well the inclusion of a laboratory to test and repair radio remote control systems for customers.

The company relocated to the new site in early 2016, and manufacturing output is already responding to the more effective and efficient factory layout, it said, which also features dedicated service bays, a high voltage insulation testing station and a customer training area.

As the Australian and New Zealand agent for Ruthmann, the additional space allows greater service, parts and support for Ruthmann customers in Australia.

To celebrate the move, Nifty-Lift held a series of open days for customers, suppliers and staff families. Visitors were treated to factory tours, and a display of Nifty-Lift and Ruthmann platforms.
