Oil & Steel and Palazzani to market jointly in Germany
12 December 2011
Italian manufacturers Oil & Steel and Palazzani have made an agreement to market their products jointly in Germany.
Recognising the synergy between their products the two companies have signed a joint agreement for Oil & Steel's existing German sales and service partner, Enel, to also market Palazzani's self propelled tracked platforms.
The companies said that the agreement means that Oil & Steel's range of Octopussy "spiders," which have working heights of 14m to 21m and outreaches of up to 9m will now be complemented by the Palazzani products, with working heights of 23m to 52m and outreaches of up to 20m.
Andrea Certo, Oil & Steel's chief executive officer said, "This mutually beneficial agreement will allow Palazzani to make a smooth entrance and become fully integrated in a network that is helping to increase Oil & Steel's market share in one of the countries that is currently a driving force behind the recovery that we all want. The quality and overall value of the network's range are outstanding."
Davide Palazzani, chief executive officer of Palazzani said, "Presenting ourselves with a complete range of products, 'spiders' and truck-mounted platforms, as well as a meticulous, widespread technical support service will mean that the sales network for our two companies will have a great opportunity to increase the penetration of the entire range in the demanding German market."
