Palazzani Industrie is now offering an extendable track feature for its spider lifts in response to customer feedback.

The new optional extra is now available with most of the manufacturer’s Palift equipment range, including the XTJ 37+ model. Its launch comes just two months after the company introduced a new high-capacity winch option for its XTJ 52+ spider lift.

The extendable undercarriage can provide the models with a larger width of up to 1800mm for added safety and stability. The configuration has been designed to make loading and unloading machines from trailers with ramps easier.

In the narrow configuration the tracks offer a width of just 1350mm, which allows users to gain access through narrow spaces such as doors and corridors.

The Italy-based company said, “Palazzani is always attentive to the market feedback and different needs according to the applications, with openness and a spirit of continuous improvement.

“The Spider Lift XTJ 37+ is now performing great even in the most extreme contexts, in total safety, agility and stability, expanding its range of applications and relieving the operator from all those thoughts related to the terrain, narrow spaces and instability.”

According to the company, which also recently extended its TZX series with a 25m working height model, said the optional extra can be applied to machines equipped with tracks, wheels or both.
